Ms Hughes,

On behalf of all the students and staff past and present of Rathlee National School, we want to thank you.  

We would like to express our gratitude and bid farewell to a wonderful teacher, leader, mentor, and friend. 

Throughout your 25 years here, you've been more than just a principal to us; you've been a guiding light, a source of inspiration, and a beacon of wisdom. 

Your passion for teaching, your genuine care and compassion for every pupil has created a nurturing environment. Whether it was a word of encouragement before a test, a warm smile in the hallway,  or the sound of your high heels in the corridor.  you've always been there for us, guiding us with patience, kindness, and understanding. We have felt supported, encouraged, and valued.

As you embark on this new journey called retirement, we wish you nothing but health and happiness. May this next chapter of your life be filled with joy and adventure.
