We filled 2 bottles with water and froze them.

We got some felt material to make a coat for one of the bottles.

We placed the material around one of the bottles and secured it with an elastic band.

We left the other bottle without a coat.

We set a timer for one hour.

We made predictions as to which bottle of water would have melted the most after an hour.

We discovered the the bottle with the coat melted less than the bottle without the coat.

Wrapping up the bottle helped to keep it cold.
